About This Role
We are hiring a Bookkeeping Specialist to maintain accurate financial records and support our accounting operations. This is a flexible remote role ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in bookkeeping and financial record management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accounts are balanced
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for management review
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with tax preparation by gathering and organizing required documentation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- Part-Time: 1 to 4 hours per day
- Full-Time: 4 to 7 hours per day
- Pay Rate: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour

Requirements
- Proven bookkeeping experience or relevant accounting background
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage financial data with confidentiality and integrity
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
